Ok I'm being lazy but I just don't have the time to shop around right now, so any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Just cancelled my Vodafone contract. It was £ 15.99 per month with 100 free mins p.m. Looking for something similar.

Don't use the phone a lot - but occasionally I did use up all the minutes ( maybe 3 out of 12 months )

Thanks in advance.

If you want something similar why did you cancel?

Because I was being spammed with texts which were costing me. Vodafone couldn't help ( apart from giving me company names/numbers ). The problem was escalating. And Vodafone wouldn't change my number. Now the latter may be true or not, but that's what they said.

I wasn't prepared to end up with huge bills for spam texts I didn't want or request.

    Result - cancelled contract.

ah right, just checking you'd done the normal PAC route to reduce line rental

Best bet would be either a cashback deal or if you are happy with current phone one of the 12 month free sim only deals that appear on here or the Grabbit boards

    Thanks Woby

    Will have a look.

    It's a shame - I was happy with Vodafone & the phone.

Is your account closed now ? If not, you could get a second number added onto your account, then close your old one and you are still with Vodafone, you will have a new phone and no more texts.
