Virgin Media will drop premium rate charges to its technical support line in June, less than a year after they were introduced, the firm has confirmed.

I am afraid virgin media are worse than the most for being untrustworthy.

This is going to be to little to late for a lot of people.

I'm not too fussed about the STM, yes I'd rather it not be there, but I prefer the way VM handle this and don't have a lousy 40GB per month limit and if you go over that limit too many times they either kick you off or charge you a lot more.

At least with VM you can still download many many GB each day.

Made worse for some areas recently, STM from 10:00 - 21:00

Preston, Wigan, Blackpool, Camden, Dalston, Enfield and Haringey.

    10:00 - 15:00 Download
    Size M: 900Mb
    Size L: 2,400Mb
    Size XL: 6,000Mb

    16:00 - 21:00 Download
    Size M: 450Mb
    Size L: 12,00Mb
    Size XL: 3,000Mb

    15:00- 20:00 Upload
    Size M: 200Mb
    Size L: 700Mb
    Size XL: 1,400Mb

Hit above limits during the above hours and your connection is throttled, down to 25% speed on L and XL and 50% speed on M. You can get hit more than once.
