these catagories are off the SOA form.

net income £1472

board inc all bills £ 80 pm paid DD to mother ( yes i know its low but mother dakes into account i have the car aand take her about etc )

housekeeping/ food etc £200 pm this is lunch at work + evening ( still thik this could be on the low side )

mobile phone / internet £50

petrol £150 1000 work miles a month + other running about

clothing / haircut £20 haircut cost £7 quid every 4-5 weeks not bought any clothes aprt from shirts for work for ages so could this be to low ?

other essential payments £40 advised on ccc websiite to put ths amount but i think it is way to low, car tax is £100 per year and car needs regular service because of the high miles it does
IF car insurance is included in the above well that is £26 a month and will prob go up at end of year due to 3rd party claim going on at the moment.

added breakdown cover on which is about £26 a quarter.

anything else i need to add ?
I havent included birthdays / xmas socialisation hols etc because it doesnt give any indication they will allow for that .
TBH the ccc form is more comprehensive then the official SOA

  • You seem to be showing a massive surplus after expenses at the moment ?

Is this figure just for you as a single person? if so it could be deemed a little high as i put down £250 for me and OH together.

mobile phone / internet £50 Is this a package? Do you need internet for work? If not don't mention it as internet will need to come out of surplus. This may be deemed high but leave it and see

Do you pay for prescriptions? opticians? dental?

    Holidays £20

christmas/birthdays £20 though this seems to be being disalowed by some OR's

    Expenses/emergancies £20 ditto though.

Are you a member of a professional body?

Do you wear suits to work that need dry cleaning?

anything else i need to add ?

If you leave a massive surlus then you will lose a big percentage with an IPA, maybe you should up your rent and other areas to take the surplus down. I think i remember you saying about your car and the finance payments on this

i cant up my rent as that has been paid by DD and will show on previous statements.
if i up it now suddenly they will be suspicious .
car is £168 pm i owe £5200 but it is worth bout £3000 at very most. ( has been listed )
needs new tires and has cracked rear bumper.
i am paying £195 pm for my harley which i know will go and i have listed it ...
( worth £5000 BUT owe £8000 against it as i had to finnace settlement of previous bike )
200 pm fixed payment to mint cc ( owe £8200 )
170 pm chahoot cc (owe £7000)
    165 pm CITI cc ( owe £4200)
    303 pm HSBC personal loan ( owe £14000 )
halifax b/a £440 od pay em a tenner when mythered

that all adds up to £1200 pm just on hp/loans/ and CC

which leaves me with £270 left for the expenses i have listed .

i am not a member of a profesional body and suites dont need dry cleaning
i have removed phone / internet but really do need to have money avail for that in surplus.

if i take away the debt payments and add up my outgoins as above + the extras i have listed i have a surplus of about £730 ...
OR is gonna have a field day .....:-(

All your debts will go into the BR.

You can keep your mobile phone on the outgoings, just don't put internet, but we usually see this accepted at £30-35. Leave it at £50 and if the OR lowers it then you may get more than you thought and if he doesn't BINGO!!

I&E's are difficult because it depends on the OR what gets allowed, so we can only give generalisations.

Pop up your complete I*E as it stands now with all the outgoings, including car but not loans etc. Thanks.
