How do I keep aol address but ditch aol
Somerset
I'm fed up now of my aol problems since this cpw migration thing. I thought it was sorted but I'm still having problems. I might as well ditch them and find a better, cheaper ISP. Currently on £9.99 p.m. dial up. So when I do change, how do I keep my aol addresses ? Someone mentioned it can be done on one of the ''aol problem'' threads. Can someone please explain how I do this? Thanks

You just get to keep it, you don't have to do anything.
You just go to the www.aol.co.uk page and sign in from there.
I cancelled with AOL in 2006, I didn't know I could still use my email address until 6 months ago!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
When I was leaving AOL 18 months ago, I asked them if i could keep my address, they charged me £2 or £3 a month, but in Jan 07 I got an email saying they were scrapping charges for that service and I could still use the AOL software for free too. I still use that address.0

I didn't tell them I still wanted it, in fact all the user names on the account I can still use now.
As I said, I cancelled early 2006 and only found out I could still use those email addresses in about October last year.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
