scroll down to bottom of page and download version 2.4, NOT version 3
Excellent program, can be as simple or complicated as you choose. Personally removed Zone Alarm as I found it was full of Bloatware0 -
Ta for the replys. Sadly whilst instaling zonealarm my pc totally crashed and would not boot. Ended up performing a system restore.
I tried to instal the product from comodo. However it wouldn't alow me, with this message coming up:
'This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way'
I haven't a clue what that is refering to!
Any ideas?0 -
Probably not the advice you need, but you'd be better off getting Windows 98 SE and installing it, ME is pretty dire. Better than that would be to install Windows 2000 Pro, if you don't want to move to XP, as it's pretty light on resources, but much more secure and stable than ME. There will be some genuine versions on eBay if you search, just avoid the pirate copies!0

This is the latest version that will work with anything pre XP: Zonealarm 6.1.744.0010
-
Cheers Donnie. Again it will not allow me to install, quoting: 'Could not find the DLL liberary'
I think I'll take isofa's advice and upgrade. I've had it with ME.0 -
That's strange, as I have ME installed on an old laptop, together with Zone Alarm Security Suite version 6.1.744.001.
Had none of the problems described.
Have you applied all of the relevant updates for ME?0 -
Stay away from ZoneAlarm, the latest version is a nightmare with XP. I have moved to Sygate.0

I'm running the latest version on this XP laptop with no problems at all.
Don't generalise.
Could it be that you installed the version for Vista by mistake?0 -

No, it installed the XP update - have a Google for all the others who have had problems as well ! I am NOT generalising !0
