Well, here's mine - I'm no masterchef and trying to ice these with a cocktail stick left a lot to be desired. Note to self, get an icing kit next time :p
for hubbies birthday tomorrow.

I'm just going to put this in a polybag and tie ribbon on.
All going in a hamper.

I should add the idea came from this lady here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=152533.0

Hi, they look great, I'm intending to make some for valentine's day too. Can I just ask what icing you used, was it just water icing?

Also what recipe did you use for the biscuits...if you don't mind. I know i'm being cheeky :)

Hi NikNak, I just used packet icing sugar and water and just mixed it up, not too runny though. I then got one of those white icing tubes in asda, they come in all colours and you get 4 nozzles with them for the outside edges and writing. The writing nozzle is a bit big so it was tricky. I did the outlines first then filled in the blue with a cocktail stick - it's all I had.

The biscuit recipe was this one, I doubled it up and it did the big biscuit and 20 little ones with a bit left, I just shoved icing on the other 10 so they didn't look like anything and my son can take them for packed lunch.

Wow, that's such an easy recipe. I'm glad I asked now, because the one I was going to use was so much more hard work lol
  • They're lovely! Well done you :D

Just a teeny suggestion, if you've got any icing left, put his name on that big cookie under the happy birthday :)

Great job, he's gonna love em x

Thank you the good fairy, I just did it and it balanced it up more. Thank goodness his names Andy, I just got it on there. Thanks for the suggestion.

I bet hes going to be well chuffed with all the effort you have put in. Well done you. They are fab. I was thinking about making hubby some biccies as its his bday on the 11th feb but ive already bought loads of chocolate so I think he would kill me if I made biscuits too since were both trying to lose weight lol
