I have tried to organise a content insurance for my room (I live in a house share where the landlord has supplied all furniture) so I only need to insure the items in my room. Most home insurance companies I have rang does not offer this kind of insurance. Does anyone know of any companies who sell this type of insurance?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think Rich has identifeid one of the few policies out there. There isnt a lot of choice and a lot of these types of policy are geared for student accommodation (I assume you are not a student).
They are presumably very difficult for insurers, so be extra vigilant and read the policy in minute detail to make sure its valid in your circumstances.

Directline and Norwich Union insure this as standard! But whether your parents would want to claim on their policy is questionable! Although it means less for you to pay

Other than that cover4students and endsleigh offer specific cover for students living in shared accom. or halls of residence
Hope it helps.0 -
I live in student accomadation and I paid £16 with Endsleigh for the first year in uni!0

Thanks for the tip of reading the policy properly to make sure that I am correctly covered. I shall contact endsleigh to see what they charge.
