Full link for those that are looking.

Isn't there a time limit though for using the free credit?

Catchy Thread Title by the way - I must congratulate you on your originality!

Thank you for compliment. It was very funny to see two threads side by side. Now I desided to change the title and heep the thread afloat another day ;)

Oops! I can change the title of the post, but not of the thread!

Don't worry Grumbler, perhaps we should just get in touch with Nokia and get them to officially change the name of the phone to the 'Mega-Cheap Nokia 1100' - so much catchier than just 'Nokia 1100' don't you think?

This offer looks pretty good assuming you don't have to use up the free credit within a short timespan, but you do have a much larger initial outlay than from Virgin - although if you use it on FRESH they are effectively paying you £10 to take it off their hands!

There may be a catch: the small print for the Fresh tarif says "The inclusive credit on connection lasts for 60 days from account connection."

These terms are buried in the Fresh tarif page: click on Fresh on the link below, and go to the bottom of the page. http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-pd-ProductDisplay?S=40&PN=PAYGO&filter_partModel=NOK1100

Ihave looked at the details in CPW brochure for June,(page 52).

What is actually happening is that for those who top up £20 when they buy the phone, (and this is compulsory to get the £29.99 price),will have £60 CREDIT AS THEY SAY THEY ARE TRIPPLING THE VALUE OF THEIR CREDIT THEREBY GIVING CALLS AT 1/3 THE USUAL PRICE.

This still, as the initial credit on registration, has to be used in only 60 days, so if you are a light user you will lose out.

As I would usually only use about £10 per month this would be expensive.

They make their deal very difficult to understand.

    ...Far too difficult...

P.S. Just received e-mail from CPW:

'...Thank you for your e-mail regarding to the Fresh network.

Please be advised there you have 30 days to use the £60 top up on the Fresh no line rental ever network....'
