Just wondered what peoples thoughts were of the LG Chocolate. I'm considering buying one or the LG Shine.

I absolutley love my LG Chocolate, so much so that Ive got it in two colours!0

Is it good on holding battery power?? One of the reasons I'm loking to get a new phone, my old one isn't reliable anymore, and I've changed the battery.0

I usually have to charge mine every four or five days if I've just used it for texting etc., but it does run down a lot quicker if you use it for making lots of calls. Not very techie minded but I presume this is the same for all phones(?).0

i've heard a lot of bad things about the chocolate but i don't have one myself so i can't confirm it!! i was going to buy one because they look so pretty but after reading reviews i decided not to go for it.

I can only speak from personal experience and Ive had no problems at all. I had it in pink and it remained like new for over a year and Ive just replaced it with a lilac one as my Husband put it in his pocket when we went walking on the beach, forgot it was there and filled his pocket with shells!!!! Needless to say it was scratched and then some, but under these circumstances I dont think any phone would have survived unscathed.0

My daughter's has been in for repair every 4 months in the first year (currently being repaired again) as the screen keeps failing.
I am not at all happy about it as the warranty runs out this month with still another 6 months of the contract to run I guess the past record will suggest that we will soon have a contract with a non operable phone to use it with.
Our "friends at CPW have effectively washed their hands of it next week and have told me I will have to pay for any more repairs.Signature No Longer acceptable -

My daughter loves her mobile. However it had to 'go away' for repair when the screen failed (think it's a connector ribbon which wears out after a while).0

Had it and had to give it back after a few weeks as drove me nuts with heat senstve panels turning the volume up and down or switching off the call if id been on it too long and it felt the heat off my face lol0

I would choose the shine myself. A few of my friends have the chocolate and they are always complaining about the keypad, the fiddly menus and software faults.
As the Chocolate uses a heat sensitive keypad, you cant use it wearing gloves.....
Also the shine has much better features like 2 megapixel camera and memory card slot so you can use it for an mp3 player0
