YBS Anniversary ISA

a word of warning - I transferred my YBS e-ISA to the fixed rate anniversary ISA. Instead of being closed and interest added, they used the same account number. On further investigation it seems the interest I have earned so far this year will not be paid for another year, instead of April 2008 as per the e-ISA.
And I am going to loose compound interest on it.
This seems totally unfair and I have submitted a formal complaint.

I think this may have been a mistake. When I transferred my e-ISA to the FRA account, the closing interest was paid and added to the opening balance of the new account.0

I did the same transfer and was told that the interest will be added on at the end of the month.0

Oldfella,
I'm in the same boat on this issue - I've emailed a formal complaint and asked that the matter be bought to attention of senior management. If they are withholding interest earned on my e-isa between 1/04/07 and 15/10/07 (date of transfer) until 30/9/2008 then they are not paying the advertised AER rates.
YBS acknowledged my complaint and it's now going through the formal review process.0 -

I thought it might have been a mistake, but if you have the same problem it looks like it is a deliberate policy. In my case they are trying to withhold interest earned since April 2007.0 -
As a result of my complaint - YBS have now credited interest in full on transfer of e-isa to FR Anniversary ISA.
oldfella, let me know if you require any further details.0 -
just got my interest applied as well - always worth complaining !0
