Wanted Internet on N95

I have a Nokia N95 fone. Please can you anyone tell me how to get internet access on N95 without need to sign a contract.

I found one from T-Mobile "Browse the web on your phone and the most you'll pay is £1 daily". Is this the best, if you don't want the contract???.

I can't see any hidden charges, if so at the most I will pay only £30/mth.

I heard T-Mobile have a Pay as you go deal at £1 per day of use. Might be worth checking out their site in case it's changed since summer though.

Hope this gives you a place to start.

Yes, that's what I too found and quoted in my message above.

But I can't find if there are any hidden charges. If I just top up by £10, can I use internet for 10 days without making any calls or sending the texts?. Are there any restriction in browsing???.

When I want a full days internet on my e61 /laptopI stick in my orange sim and pay £1 a day . No strings.
    Here is the link http://www1.orange.co.uk/service_plans/payasyougo/extra_other.html

While I was googling to find that link it also said something about £8 month?? Worth a closer look???

Thanks. Orange looks good too. I will give them a call to confirm that. But how do you use laptop with orange SIM?.

    Hi,
To set it up just dial 450 and follow the prompts.
To use laptop with the orange sim I have an old nokia phone. The orange Sim stays in the 3230 and I connect the phone to the laptop with a data cable ( I think possibly bluetooth would also work ).
Nokia PC suite on the laptop connects easily .

Instead of the 3230 you MIGHT also be able to buy ...not sure what its called, but its like a sim card holder that plugs into big slot ( pcmcia? exresscard) slot on your laptop. In fact instead of the 3230 Im sure many other phones would work but Ive no idea which ones.

3230s on ebay seem to be around £30-£40 . Tomtom 5 sat nav works well on this phone so a bit of a bargain if you ask me.

ps Orange banned me from viewing MSE as they think its an adult site!! So I had to ring orange and provide age proof and ask them to allow me to visit adult sites- I felt like a right old pervert .

You might find 3's new Flat12 tariff interesting, you can buy various Internet addons:

    Internet Daily 1 day 50p
    Internet Weekly 1 week £2.50
    Internet Monthly 1 month £5

    SLC: £13000+

    Quidco
    : £
    131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
    Valued Opinions
    : £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
    StudentPanel: £25

    Nice find Z4kir.
It seems O2 are offering deals now . I have a E61 on O2 so might look at this . It would save me changing phones / sims.
O2 is £7.50 month on PAYG. It says unlimited but then goes on to say 200mb a month.

Yes watch out for that - someone really should clamp down on this 'unlimited' rubbish - it isn't. 200Mb also, if you're using a decent 3G phone, will get you nowhere.

Many web pages are 300-500k (watching the meter on my 6120 when I load up pages). So 200Mb is potentially a mere 400 pages a month....

On the O2 page it said for phone use only - so I tried using it on my laptop.
Like I said before the orange connected fine but with the O2 its not connecting . Anyhow as Sid says 200mb is not a lot, and on my laptop Im on 5 gb a month.
I might go look at the 3 deal now.

Which ever network you use you'll need their connection setting loading to the phone, most network have this on their websites, it sends a config file to the phone which sets it up for you.
