OK, I couldn't see one started again by anyone else so I've just done this with 2 stark choices - to have one or not to have one... that is the question...
(Sorry if anyone did do one - I couldn't see it on the first 3 pages of the board)

Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Ditto Keren!Current debt - £16,300
Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
I'm voting (again
) for keeping it as it is - I will go along with whatever is decided, but will feel a bit sad if things change around here.
Lets hope the poll stays open a bit longer this time - Martiiiin, step awaaaaay from the moderator controls.... :rotfl:

I've voted.
Can I just ask though - if it stays the same, PLEASE can we have some sort of sticky or notice on the front of the board so this topic explaining that a democratic vote was taken as this keeps being mentioned in threads over over again.
Of course everyone is quite rightly, entitled to their opinion, but personally I feel it gets tiring seeing the debate endlessly coming up as to whether there should be a sub board or not and it could be seen as devisive in itself.
Hope that makes sense!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

and also ALL the stickies to be moved into one sticky called "Becoming Debt Free - look here first" or something like that with ALL the existing stickies listed in one locked post on that thread which only a Mod can change.

I had another suggestion which I put on the other thread, which was to maybe have more board guides - Nearlyrich is fab don't get me wrong, but the board is getting busier and busier, and it is a lot for one person to handle (not sure that Plumpmouse is still around?).
That way any posts that aren't relevant to DFW (I've seen at least two of these today - nothing wrong with them, just in the wrong place) can be moved to the correct forum more quickly, which would make more space for newbie posts."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I think there's too many polls, we should have a sub board for polls about sub boards

Perhaps we should start another thread to discuss this, first.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
