I think having the diaries on a sub board as proposed is a good idea. Quite often, if you access this board the predominant (ie, most popular diary threads are at the top). This isn't teaching any scared newbies anything unless they read from the beginning every thread. I think the diaries are a wealth of knowledge (especially the popular ones, if read from start from finish), perhaps there should be a sticky such as "debtbusters diaries" ect.

i love reading the diaries when i get time, but quite often you get sucked into one instead of others, just because of their position on the dfw forum. i also love all the dfw debt free ideas which sometimes get lost in the diaries and s.o.a.

i feel that both the s.o.a. and deft free diaires, end up making all the other clever debt free ideas get lost in the sea of posts

Sorry if I've missed it - but was there an official decision either way?

Don't think so tw, but the poll hasn't even been closed yet.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
