I currently have what they call a 'Cardplus' account with NatWest but have just noticed on NatWest website that this account is no longer listed but a new 'Adapt' account is there.
Does anybody know if I will be switched to new account ?
I will ask ask my branch when I get the chance.
Thanks
Brad

Just looking at their website - is their any/much benefit?
The (relatively poor) interest rate they pay is the same..

Your account will be automatically transferred over, and the account number will remain the same.0

So whats the Adapt website? And if im automatically transferred, when do i get details etc? I want to design my card!Hi, I've already asked and been granted for permission via PM for a Help for Heroes link. Pfft.

I agree, not any benefits really apart from designing your own card but they seem to charge £5 for doing this! Its just the same account but new name to be honest.
Interest rate isn't great, I am tempted to moving to the HSBC account and they also have Internet banking for under 16's like me.
Out of interest, anyone have the link to this website exclusive to us?
Thanks

everyone will be getting a new pack with all the details of how to apply, going out on a phased basis.0

Thanks for the link, may seem a silly question but if I designed my card would it still be a solo debit card as well as a cashcard ? Just when I preview card design it doesn't show standard solo logo.
Thanks

To me it looks like a bit of a !!!!take.
Why would a 17 year old for instance need any of those pointless features.
'Orange Pay as you go only' and 5 pounds for a design. What a way to treat younger customers.
If your 16 or over you can have a Current Plus account with sadly a solo.
I should know i opened oen and never used it!
I am now currently with lloyds and might switch to A&L. But as a 17 year old i am with Lloyds with my trusty Visa Debt.
Although the A&L rate is good, why in the hell are they only going to give me an atm card. Just like nationwide in there conservative ways.
What a shame that card plus was a nice lil account. Now they have gone "Kid" crazy...

I closed my account, main reason being they don't allow internet banking when some others do. I would not use any of NatWests 'offers' in fact I have never used any since having the account since 2005.0

I got my statement yesterday, still says "Card Plus".
Will i have to go in and upgrade? I don't use the account so it doesn't really bother me.
And i'd never join HSBC - because when your 18 they don't offer any decent accounts and the staff in my branch look like there in a social club with each other!
With Barclays i now have a Visa Debit card and Electron (Rolled in one, accepted anywere the Visa logo is displayed!)
No being left out because of solo, i'm in with Visa!Hi, I've already asked and been granted for permission via PM for a Help for Heroes link. Pfft.
