This company is a bit of a puzzle.

Whenever they are mentioned you get loads of people chiming in to say 'they must be a scam'

You don't actually get anyone saying 'I was scammed by them'

You occasionally get someone saying they had an acceptable holiday from them - bearing in mind it was a freebie/cheapo - or that the coach was a bit of a rust bucket or the driver got lost....

Not sure what to conclude from that. Probably that it's better to pay a bit more and get something a bit more reliable

I do believe the free holiday may be for one (ie if you want to go with someone they have to pay) and that you won't get a room to yourself if you do travel alone.

I have a brochure from them and have sent off £20 for the italian holiday some 3 weeks ago. They have cashed the cheque but I haven't had my booking form yet. Looking it up further on other review sites a lot of suspected a scam but their reports seem to say they were OK. There is a website:

I will keep you all posted.
• I have been offered a date in April for a free coach tour of Italy. There is no cost involved, other than an up font payment of £95 each (the trip is for 2 people) which is refunded on the 2nd day of the trip - they say. I am reluctant to part with £190 for two of us but cannot find anyone that says they have been conned - yet. HELP!!!!
• I keep receiving communications from them, each time some new destination. The latest one I received today was for a 4day cruise for 4 people for only £20. I have spoken to them previously and was sent a mini brochure so the price paid is just for a real basic trip, everything else you have to pay for, such as food and any excursions. Right now i can't afford to take the chance even for £20. A shame because I would have liked to be able to report back if it was leggit or not.

I've just had an email from 'Home Shopping Selections' offering a European Vacations 'FREE' cruise and stay to Northern Spain when buying from them.

Like dzug, my Googling doesn't come up with any outright 'scam' answer but I can't believe there's anything 'free' in this day and age.

Hi Just received an email from EV Holidays - entertainment@acq.ccemails.net offering the following holiday 7 days for two people, where it says I will not pay for return travel or accommodation for me and a guest. £20 booking fee required.
Has anyone been on any of these holidays yet?

£600 for half board for 2 in Turkey in JANUARY is NOT a bargain by any stretch of the imagination!

Hotel wise, www.RoomRateCompare.com have rooms in Marmaris hotels for 2 from as little as £3 per night (£1.50 pp) for 3* up to £27 per night for 5* half board (£13.50 pp) via hotels4U (so you can click through via quidco for another 10% cashback)
