Tesco currently have a deal on whereby you get 999 Clubcard Points when you buy any TV.

However, this ALSO works when you buy the following products:

Technika VESA wall mount for 12" - 21" LCD TVs @ £14.97

Technika DVI cable @ 97p (reduced from £19.97 in most stores)

Edit: Apparently also works with Technika LCD screen cleaning kits at £9.97

So, that's 999 Clubcard points for a £1 or £15 spend! = Worth £40 in Deals or 2400 BA Miles etc etc

If you can find the DVI cable, then you are quids in! You could get a return BA flight to Canada just by buying 21 DVI cables (plus taxes) or to Australia for 42 DVI cables! :eek:

I purchased at self scan and cashier tills and just did two items at a time to avoid attention. Adds 999 points for each item plus 1 per £ spent for each item.

I think the security guard at the entrance might have sussed what I was up to though...

Not necessarily. Our local one shows 0800-midnight today (and is still open right now) and that is not the normal hours, as they are usually open 0800 Monday and don't close again until 2200 on Saturday night...

Also, if you're in Scotland it's not a bank holiday today.
