Capital One Application

Options
Hey guys, I was just wondering how many days Capital One usually take to send the T&Cs to sign and send back. They advise 10-14 days, however I think they're covering themselves because a letter shouldn't take that long. Maybe they're referring to the actually card when I've signed. Anyone experienced with Capital One?

I know mine was about 3 weeks, I had to pay a deposit of £200, which I am getting back next month (wheeeee) which will clear my card for me.

Okay, and thanks for your replies. It just seemed strange to wait 10-14 days.

What was the reason for that, if you don't mind me asking?

Dont want to rain on your parade. But I had the T&C to sign AFTER being approved sent it back and was told my card would arrive within 10-14 days. 7 Days later I had a letter telling me that they had reviewed there decision and that they were no longrer accepting me for a card!!! When I telephoned they said that they always reserve the right to refuse an application after accepting it!!! Must say I was mighty dissappointed. :(

That's awful. Never heard of that before. Maybe it's because they give you a response in 1 minutes and the system accepts you but if a human reviewed the application might reject.

Actually I made my application after being "invited" via a letter filled in the application form and posted it off. They sent me a letter congratualting me on my "Successful" application and asking me to sign the T&C and my card would arrive 7-10 days later:rolleyes: Needless to say I feel pretty let down and dissappointed. Hope you get more luck.

I can see no reason if it was their Classic Visa Card, as that card is designed to rebuild your credit score. I strongly recommend you get a card that'll rebuild your credit score, that way you will one day, maybe in three year's time, be accepted for credit. I suggest you look into this card: http://www.aquacard.co.uk/CJID_635689.htm
