They'll send in the bailiffs. Trust me, I know. Someone once hijacked my account and ran up about £20 in fees. They sent the bailiffs to my door before I even knew about it. Your account WILL be passed to a debt collection company.
Why don't you want to pay? You signed up to eBay, you agreed to pay, you can't just walk away and forget about the money you owe them! Money saving, yes, but dishonest.....???0 -
Well the reason is just that i noticed a product being sold well so i decided to list it myself, the listing cost £12.70, the next day the listing was removed for breaking the rules, and the money is still credited to my account, i find this very unfair as the other persons listing has been there for over a week!
It seems as though i will have to pay it, although, my mum has owed ebay £20 for months and nothing has happened except her account has been suspended...0 -
report the other person or complain to find out what was wrong with your listing....:happyhear0

I can absolutely guarantee they will send your account to the bailiffs. And the first you will hear about it is when they call you. Not good, don't do it.0

If a listing is removed, you'll have a credit back for the fees. Just contact ebay and asked them to do it.0

You are 15, you shouldn't even be selling on eBay! They will get debt collectors onto you and you will get a bad credit rating before you can even legally have credit.

Inx,
You are doing something wrong, in that you are pretending to be older than you are. You really need to start taking the good advice of people on here, and to be frank, start growing up a bit.
With regard to your mum, I really would not take her dealings with ebay to be good practice. In fact, I think she is setting a terrible example.
Please be aware that debts can catch up with you for up to six years after your last correspondance with the person that you owe money to. If you do not pay a debt, it will eventually result in a default on your credit file, which will stop you getting any kind of credit in the future, including a mortgage and current account.
Take this as a learning curve, and pay up! xGone ... or have I?0 -
Ok, im 15, but my age doesn't effect everything, i beleive im very grown up for my age, im not taking my mum and using her as an excuse at all, i have just payed my eBay fees as i would, it didn't take you to tell me, i was just curious as i am with many things, the only thing i am doing wrong is lying about my age, but what does that matter when im doing exactly what anyone else would when buying/selling on eBay, i understand fully what it's about, theres just the odd thing that i need to ask on these forums and i get all this...
I like the advice im getting, and i take in what people say, just please don't have a go at me for making a little extra cash!0
