Now for anyone looking in, please feel free to join - the more the merrier! Basically, decide on the amount you want to spend up to from Sunday until the end of the working day on Friday then pledge it here and off we go! The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anythng else.

Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!!

Hi Pap and all other challengees!

Am hoping for a NSD - have plenty of leftovers from today to eat and am going to friends for tea.

As for last week, spent £4.24, so a green week for me please!
Will try for £10 for next week again
Many thanks Pap for keeping the thread going x

Well I'm aiming for NSD no.3, nothing needed.

I made a 5p bet with someone at work and lost, but I kept going on about how I would have to note the 5p on here and lose my running NSDs! (I'd feel too guilty not to!) and he gave it back.

Hi there, I spent a total of £6 on "spends" when I had only allowed £5 so I am in the red, but not by too much.

Because we are getting nearer the end of the month, my budget needs to be trimmed, so I will be aiming for a No Spend Week

This is only for non-essentials, I will not be expecting the children to go without food, but this challenge does address any spending on coffees, chocolate and other things that I don't "need" but sometimes "want".

Hope everyone has a good week.

Oh dear, not a good week - need to be stopped! i have a few things to buy this week but they are all budgeted for and those that aren't I'm going to have to find a free way of doing them! I aim to spend only £10 on non-essential things - really really want to stick to this and also remember to post next week! Forgot last week I was still thinking it was only a week since I set myself the £5 target lol!

Morning PaP - I am a little 'fragile' this morning, so please be gentle with me.

I didn't enter the challenge last week, but only spent a total of £15.00 so I would have bee quids in.
I'm going to aim for £25.00 this week, if that's okay.

Thanks PaP - No sympathy required, it was all self-induced. How was I to know that most of the guests at my daughter's barbie were teetotal.
