Graduate Money Saving - new board?

Perhaps we could have a new board focusing on graduate money saving. The transition between student life and the "real world" offers some interesting opportunities for graduates and products specifically for them.
Just a thought. It's not really student money saving is it?
(it would probably get more interest than the silver money savers!)

great idea bigbouncyball, i've just graduated from a postgraduate course and there's no student loan any more, just the prospect of big debt while job hunting - definitely a difficult financial transition! As regards banking, any difference in what the high st banks offer in the way of interest free overdrafts? I've got one of 1,500 only until next year when its 1,000, and on a max salary of 14,500 living in london it might be loan time!0

i was just putting out an idea. This site may not be the place for it but guides on 1st time mortgages and beginning pensions - are they the worth doing now - and things like that
ps - there maybe guides of that sort on other boards (mortgages and pensions for example!) but i haven't ventured into those yet. I need a new board to live in now i've graduated from the university of student money saving - help, what a thought!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. perhaps we could call it young money saving to cater for those of us in the 21-29 cat with questions of this sort.

Er..my age doesn't depress me cos I look much younger (sounds like i'm developing a complex!) BUT some people are mature students, or keep on studying till the letters after their name take up a paragraph! The most important questions when you graduate are "How much?" and "When do I start?". You could ask in the Site feedback forum ,you're allowed to make suggestions there :j0 -
hmmmm i knew i'd get a response like that as soon as i wrote down the word "young" - the fact remains that for graduates, not postgraduate students (PhD's, post docs etc) there are financial issues that aren't covered on this board. Postgraduates can still post here and get all they need on the student money saving board - 21-29 year olds have the need for a board i think!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
