Salary? T&Cs?0

We do not list salary on the boards - its inappropriate as one applicant will hopefully become a new worker on the site. Salary commensurate with experience and suitability.

'tis a shame, I'd never go for a job without even a vague idea of salary. I learned that after I started applying for a web developers job out near Heathrow, only to find they couldn't even match my (then) current salary as an academic researcher0
-
We should all apply so we can have a look at the rather mysterious MSE office0
-
A catch 22, do you want to employ someone who wants to know the salary before applying or not !
How's about a guide such as £17k-25k with london weighting, it's not specific to give away someone's exact salary, but helpful to us who would be tempted, but don't want to waste our time tailoring our CV / covering letters to the job in question?
I personnally no longer apply for jobs I don't know the salary or salary range to, as like ringo_24601, I have wasted soo much time and effort going to interviews only to find out the job was less than I was on now.
Rgds

Hi folks,
As Martin responded earlier, we won't post the figure on the Boards but we never said we wouldn't tell you. Yet we've already had many replies from those interest in the position and of course, they've simply asked a query.
To emphasise, this is an entry level junior developer role, with is a good opportunity to advance and MSE is a great place to work.
Thanks,

They might not mention figure, but i can say that when I was applying for a junior web developer position, based near heathrow, They were offering 21K max.
Turns out that if you apply for jobs in IT consultancy they pay more and need less techie qualificationsIt is admittedly not as fun as web development though

Sure this post has long since been appointed and, as with many spammers, soleanor merely posted anything anywhere to get post count up before posting about their own site... check their last post! :rolleyes:0
