more suited to the Small Biz board I would have thought, as it's directed at companies
  • I sell a lot of items through eBay - would it be a good idea for me to take the free trial, use the £20 of free postage and then after a month cancel it? I'm guessing there's no ties with the trial (I'm gonna go back now and have a look through the T&C)

    Hi -

I have had this on trial with £20 of free postage - it is mostly for small businesses but I think anyone can use it as you do not need a VAT number. They will even come and pick it up for free once the trial is over.

    Remember to CANCEL.
  • Sounds like it's worth a go then, even if it's just for the free postage!! Will they deliver to a home address or would I need to give an office address + made-up business name (or even my eBay name?)??
  • Don't forget you can get cashback too
  • I use SmartStamp, only £4.99/month + postage as needed. You get to print your own colur logo straight out of your printer.. no additional harware. Very happy with it!

They will deliver to your home address, but just for the sake of it, make up a business name or put down your ebay store/user name on the form they will send you. You do not have to pay anything upfront.

I don't see why they should charge on top of the postage price ??

Aren't you best just buying stamps (and saving yourself £5/mth) ??

If you are a business with a brand to get across then this is worthwhile as you can stamp your brand onto the envelopes you send out. The £4.99 becomes quite small if you send 100+ letters a week.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
