I Found a £50 Note!

I was clearing up some leaves, in my back garden this morning, and I found a £50 note, I think it maybe fake, but I'm not sure.

What should I do?

Hand it to the Police or put it in a Charity box???

lol! Personally I would take it down the police station a)to see if anyone's reported it and b) to see if it's real

Your local Post ofice will be able to tell you if it is real or fake.

If it is fake they will be obliged to keep it. :D

They may have to inform the police too.

As you found it in your own back garden, then by rights it's yours surely?

Even if someone has lost it, then presumably it could have blown into your garden from anywhere, so the chances of finding the person are slim to none!

Perhaps take it into a bank or something to ask them to check if it's real or not before you try spending it!

If you rub the coloured piece on a plain white paper you'll be able to tell if it's real or fake.
