Feedback not left

I've sold two items on ebay 2 weeks ago and I've still yet to receive feedback - how can I persuade them to leave me some? I've already left theirs and I wish I hadn't now!! I've tried emailing them politely to prompt them but I don't think they are having any of it!
Is there anything I can do?

Not really! Some people just don't leave feedback. About all else you could do is leave a polite follow up feedback to say they are a little slow in leaving feedback, if you can be bothered to. It's not compulsory to feed back.0

Feedback is optional and if you ask them for feedback they may be less likely to leave you feedback, I know if someone asked me to leave feedback I would either delay it for a while or not leave it at allWeight Loss - 102lb0

I know, but it would be nice - thats all!0

I agree it would be nice. Whats their feedback like? Have they left feedback or done any other selling or bidding since your auction?Weight Loss - 102lb0

The only other thing, if you are bothered about this, is to email and say something like, 'I see you haven't left feedback, is there a problem with the transaction?'
But if they don't want to/can't be bothered, well...
It just seems polite to leave feedback, but perhaps that's me?0 -
Their feedback is ok, they've left it for others. I'm having such a bad experienceat ebay, it's my first time at selling and it's been a nightmare! Never mind, guess I'll leave just leave it.0

Feedback is optional so asking for it often gets a poor response - sometimes people will give a negative to those who ask for it. Just relax and carry on trading ... many people leave all their feedback in batches, some don't leave it at all. Ultimately you are on ebay to get a satisfactory transaction ... feedback is merely an aside."I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." — Confucius0

it is optional and i dont ask if its not left. I have prob (out of 500 transaction buying and selling) had about 15 people not leave feedback... i dont mind however, when i was just starting out i wanted feedback but now with the score i have and still at 100% i tend to take it or leave it :beer:0

I take ages before I leave feedback. I tend to do it all in one lot every two months or so. I don't feel under any obligation to do it to the timescale of the seller.0

I always state in my messages to my buyer's when I let them know their items have been dispatched that can you "confirm receipt when it arrives and that you're happy and then I'll leave you feedback". Seems to do the trick as the vast majority either leave feedback first or send me a quick email to let me know it's arrived safely, and then I take that as the cue that they're happy and I leave them feedback first.
If they don't do either though, I don't ever bother chasing them up, nor do I leave them feedback. They were told the craic in the dispatch email and if they can't be bothered to respond to that in some way then bollox to them.
