Wow - that is awesome for the money. I've been pricing up components to build a PC for ages now, and there's no way I could beat those components for that price

They seem overpriced compared to the Dell deals you can find.
you can buy a pc cheaper yes, no arguing that, but depends what you want out of a pc. these are good spec pcs...
they always sell out instantly in all of the 3 shops we have here.0 -

My local store also still had these in stock from the last offer.
I think people are realising that there is no need to keep buying a new PC or upgrading unless you are a serious PC gamer0 -
I think there are some from lasttime at Leeds Aldi near the whiterose centre.

The new ALDI-PC MEDION Titanium MD8386
have to be quick though as these tend to get snapped up on the 1st day.

As someone else has said, I know of several stores that already have them - left over from the original sale on March 17th.
There is another thread on Shop but don't Drop that was moved there because it has been deemed these are not "Quick! Grabbit.... " items.

My comment there was:
I agree it is "only" fairly good value.
Each additional occasion Lidl and Aldi have sold PCs (this is now the 5th or 6th) the speed at which they have flown off the shelves has diminished and the number of people queuing outside the stores before they have opened on the first day of availability has got shorter.
Their 1st offerings had gone by 09:05 am on the first day. Each store had only 5 or 6 PCs and 50 people were queuing for them.
The 2nd occasion the store had 15 or 20, only 10 or so customers had bothered to get there early and it took until 12:30 for the last 1 to be sold.
The ones that went on sale last November in Aldi were still available after 4 or 5 weeks. Our local store actually had 60 or 70 on the 1st day.
These latest PC "specials" for the Bank Holiday weekend (starts Thur 28th Apr) are already in the stores - at least ours anyway - and have been there for weeks!!!
These are exactly the same as those that went on sale 5 weeks ago on 17th March and are being re-advertised because they are not selling very well.

I have to say that I still don't think this is a Grabbit as they are a) not that great a deal and b) available on quite a regular basis (and still in stock at my local Aldi from last time as well). In the light of quoia's additional comments, I am even more convinced that this isn't a short term deal which is what Grabbit is really for.0
