Gym Family Membership - Cost Of?

In the next couple of weeks I want to join a gym with my wife, but also want to take our two kids (8 and 3) swimming at weekends. Nearby we have a couple of hotels with these facilities, we also have a JJB fitness centre nearby as well. I have not contacted any of these for a price yet and don't have a clue as to how much this will cost. Can anyone suggest a typcial price for a family membership that I should be looking to get?
