Then and Now!

I thought it might be worthwhile to see how peoples finances (debt) has changed since they first posted on here (lightbulb moment)

Then Jan 2007

What I owe:
Clydesdale loan £300 - paid up this April (approx 16% apr) I am not worried about that one!
Egg loan - £6,909.34 at 6.7% and i pay £223 a month
Egg card - £3,483.44 [/B]at 5.9% for the life of the balance i pay £80 A month and dont use the card at all.
barclay card £300 at 15% - i pay off £50 a month i dont use this card
over draft £1200 limit - I am constantly in my overdraft so paying approx 16% for that pleasure

Total: £12192.78

NOW May 2007

What I owe:
Clydesdale loan Paid
Egg loan - £6,166.08 at 6.7% and i pay £223 a month
Egg card - £3,220 [/B]at 5.9% for the life of the balance i pay £100A month and dont use the card at all.
barclay card Paid
over draft Paid
Virgin Card £1200 at 0% for 13 months - I pay £100 a month and i do not spend on this.

Total: £10,586.

The amount that I have paid off in this isnt massive but my debt is more controlled. I moved my overdraft and barclay card onto the virgin at 0% so I am not paying any interest - just paying off the debt.

Where as before I was living in my overdraft and would often go over it and incurr charges, I now never go into my overdraft and i am constantly in credit.

I dont pay fees for my account (additions  )

I am currently not worring about debt I am more focused in paying it off as quickly as possible
