wary of using this company. There is NO denying that their service is second to none, however I joined on a free trial, and to cut a long story short got billed. Their email concerning why, contained wholly inaccurate information, which they later admitted, and I never did get a satisfactory explaination...
    Waddle you do eh?

I signed up for the Screenselect free trial before Christmas, wooed by the offer of a free "C'etait un rendez-vous" DVD to keep.

    Two problems occurred:

    - received the dvd's in very flimsy paper cases with perforated edges. One of these was almost completely open when I received it. You have to return the dvd's in similarly flimsy packaging.

    - never received the free DVD despite much email correspondence with screenselect. Their customer services dept have tried to be helpful, but obviously have no link to their despatch dept.

Before signing up with Screenselect, even for a free trial, bear in mind how much rental company dvd's cost (at least £60 I heard). I would not want to get into any hassle about replacing one of these if the DVD goes missing en route to you, of when you post it back.
  • Charlesh - not sure if same T&Cs as Lovefilm - but if DVD goes missing - they wait 5 days then class it as lost in the post.

If this keeps happening - they will deem your postal service chain not reliable enough and will cancel your subscription with them.

Your not liable for the cost of the DVD

    Mark.
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
