Anybody know where I can get cheap low energy candle bulbs

I need about 20 ish ,I've found there quite a bit more expensive than ordinary candle bulbs ,surely this outweighs the saving in electricity.

I'm not sure what you'll think of their prices but you could try here...

  • Ikea have a selection of 'normal' shaped low energy bulbs including candle and really nice small round ones in a variety of wattages (4-7W I think) at about £5 for 2. Problem is they only seem to come in the screw-in variety... which is fine if you have an Ikea light fitting!

I too am trying to find ways around the 7 and 5-bulb candelabras I've inherited - multiply them by 60W per bulb and that's quite a lot of electricity! Think you can buy 25W bulbs in the supermarket which is better than nothing...?

The extra cost will not outweigh their saving in electricity - assuming they are reliable, and I've found a lot of them are not.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
