Strictly for those who happily received the 18 or 15 month 0% offer...
Just curious how this pans out if you would be so kind to indulge me and others who may also be interested...
Please do not post the limits received if your original 15/18 month application was downgraded, such as....12, 9 or 6 months as this will scew the results.
Humble thanks in advance!

If you knew how the site worked, you'd know that you can edit your own posts, and whilst in this function you can actually delete them if you give a reason.
Something went a little wrong.
You managed to post it twice which suggests to me you were bored, and clueless at the same time.0 -
@Daveboy,
Have you considered suggesting to yourself the possibility there was a genuine problem stumbled upon rather than ranting off on one cluelessly again daveboy...? Bored perhaps were you?
Notice both those posts were actually edited....thus reducing the contents and causing little hassle to others considering I could not delete them and have requested the board admin to do so instead.
Talk about being bored and clueless....muppet.Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0 -
Yeah, the genuine problem being clicking on edit, then deleting it, giving a reason.
It's not rocket science. But you just managed somehow to edit the post when it gives you the option of deleting it.
I think even a new user to the site could work it out.
I'm sure you do have something to rent and it isn't the avatar space.0 -
Oh my god.....there is simply no stopping narrow-minded people. Have you nothing better to do?
The simple fact that you initially sought me out in another posting to be critical of another persons abilities is very poor indicator of your personal character (sympathy to your mother by the way who must put up with you) over such a trivial matter knowing full well that attempts at damage limitation of the postings that appeared unintentionally was attempted, and actually worked since they are no longer there if you noticed (Thanks Andrea by the way). Remember be nice to other MSE'ers!!
There was only one ignorant Muppet who took it upon themselves to police the groups on here. So sad little Mr David King stood up to be that person!
Anyway, a little explanation is clearly due so hopefully you will cease in your little endeavour here and hopefully seek out getting your kicks elsewhere rather than leaving bits of your small mind all over this thread....
When you create a poll it actually is a 2-stage and 2-screen set-up, the first stage posts the message portion to the site directly even if you have not completed it all,…..the second stage attaches the actual voting polling mechanism to the first message portion. That’s it in its simplest terms...I'm not going to get technical about it...and trust me, I have a full understanding of Internet technologies more than you could imagine.
In this case 3 messages were posted, clearly a glitch or oddity of some kind - who knows? Or further still, frankly - who cares!? I have no idea why as its not for me to excessively concern myself with unless of course it happens all the time and I am causing a significant problem to others, and this was not the case. Board admins are in place to help out and deal with issues amongst other things if need be should anyone need genuine assistance...
Anyway, only one of the messages had the actual poll attached to it - clearly not as was intended. I edited the others to a bare minimum to avoid annoying other board users, as there was unfortunately simply....NO DELETE OPTION AVAILABLE
...it must work differently to a standard message, not that I want to know or care. I gave it my best effort to remove it, I'm fully aware of the delete abilities of the site, but this was not a regular posting as you narrowly thought and the option to delete was just not there whether it was meant to be or not. Do you understand now !????? The board admin was then sought out the who simply removed it, no questions asked....no hassles or grief from anyone else....just from you from your small minded little world!
I hope that is clear to you now and you will sleep peacefully and dream of your fellow muppets.
Sincere and humble apologies to other MSE’ers out there for this, but “some people”
Lopo
( PS. I appreciate the irony of perhaps not being quite so nice to this particular MSE’er.)

Not wishing to join an argument, but I understand that you cannot delete a thread, only messages within it (even if you are the only person to post, then go back and try to delete - I only know because I posted in the wrong place and couldn't delete it!). NB - DON'T try it just to test the theory as you will then have to get the board guides to remove it, as I did, and we don't wish to annoy them
.
The other quirk on this new discussion board compared to the other BC (before crash) is that you cannot amend the title to something more appropriate if you change your mind - or rather you can but it is not changed on the thread title.
Or is it just me ... ?

Lol! this made me laff
Nothing beats a good old fashioned ranting. i sense some serious bitterness brewing here with undertones sounding a bit like those who post at https://www.holymoly.co.uk in the rules of modern life section, hilarious but not the language is a little strong for some so be warned if u venture there. worth a read though if your a londoner, so funny some of it.
Hope more ppl show your cap one limits. it would be interesting rather than get tangled up in d'boy's squabbling with Lopp who has some wound up venom in him too it seems! Bit pointless if you ask me as no harm done it seems and anon has experienced the same issue and there maybe is a prob with this site. amazes me how ppl cab be so mean spirited since we are meant to help each other on this site.....they go for one another over really nothing really - whasup dboy? maybe u post on the holymoly site too i wonder ?
I digress - vote those capp 1 limits ppl!!0 -
Sounds like a deliberate wind up to me (time wasting expert!). Otherwise this could be an interesting thread (once I get my card I’ll vote!). So let's get our own back. Leicester City for ever what? In Debt? Poor at football? But then, what do I know, tigers don't play football much, but then neither do Leicester City
. And anyway, about last weekends result...
Another related poll you could vote in (but not argue over!):

Yep, Mr David King is my name. Yep, I live in Leamington Spa, the area of Cubbington to be exact. Anyone who wants any more details feel free to ask.
What is the point of your poll? If you knew anything about borrowing and the application process you would know that it depends on the circumstances of the individual. So knowing what limit they were given is useless - it doesn't serve to help with anything as you DO NOT KNOW the circumstances of the individual.
One thing you were correct on - I've never made up a pointless poll so wouldn't know the process. Please tell me what you're going to do with the end result. I'm interested to know what you can do with this pointless information.
The word you were looking for in the poll is 'unknown'. Might be a good idea to buy a dictionary.
Leicester City forever - I support the team from where I was born, whatever their form, whatever problems they might have. What we have won in the past we have won without having millions like teams in the Premier League have. In some respects the Championship is a better league because it isn't full of overpaid divers who fix results.
Leicester Tigers are playing at the Walkers Stadium in the European Cup soon. At least we aren't trapped between two main roads, where a penalty or a drop goal lands in the car park of the Infirmary.
Brighton 1 Leicester 1. We drew.
Anyway, lets just see if good old Lopo can get off the muppet fixation, and whether there actually is a point to the poll.0 -
Sorry daveboy but, whats your problem??
If you don't like it don't read it. Why go looking to p*ss on someone?? Don't understand never will.

There is a point to this poll. This boy, Dave has got it all wrong in my opinion. These very long interest free BT cards don't come along very often. The last one of note was the Barclaycard 12 month interest free on BT's. This card gave out low limits to everyone, regardless of individual financial status.
It's going to be interesting to see if Cap One are going to be more generous.0
