I sold some stuff on ebay and went to withdraw my money in my paypal account but limit was up so i opened a new account as i dont have a credit card and sent money there and put my other bank details in transfered the money to that account great

Got email they froze my account and stopped my money going into my bank account now they want 4 forms of id and proof so i can get my £500

I sold my stuff on ebay so i can pay my rent as im a single mum now im stuck i cant pay for my rent and lost £500

As i need the money im even thinking of not sending the item i sold on ebay as i havent got the money 4 the item

And the buyer can try and get the money back from paypal maybe easier for the buyer to get it back than me?

Anyone done this?

Also i thought r add this

Because i havent got a credit card and paypal set limits i did open different paypal accounts to overcome the limit thing so in total the bf and i had 4 paypal accounts 2 were in r real names and 2 werent

So we can verify 2 accounts but not the other 2 anyone know how to get over this

    No were not fraudsters

We just set up the accounts to get over the limits because neither of us can get a credit card and transfered money from one to another

they suspect some sort of fraud - possibly money laundering and probably to do with moving the money from one paypal account to the other. is there a chance that maybe one of those accounts is in your name, but the associated bank account is your boyfriends?

If you can verify your details with the id they require then do so ASAP.

they have just frozen your account, not taken the funds off you.

Also personally, i'd proceed with the sale as agreed via ebay. you will only end up with a charge back against you which will just make things worse.

I'd say its been an automated suspension, and when some human looks into it, along with the proof of id you will provide, plus your explaination, you will hopefully have your money in no time.

    Good Luck!

Well making bogus names up is not a good idea, no wonder Paypal got suspicious!

You can't legally open up a bank account in a bogus name so why did you think you could do this on PayPal?

Because i only used it to buy things on ebay

So no ones used a bogus name in the life?

And i only did it because i thought that was the only way around the limit thing

So u cant have mutiple accounts from same address?

You don't need a credit caed for paypal a bank account and a debit card will do fine.

I think you have really opened a can of worms for yourself here and I think it might take you weeks/months to get this sorted out on the genuine accounts. On the bogus accounts they might just keep any money you have in them.

Ashas been said already you've set up fraudulent accounts with paypal so this could take quite a while to resolve. That has been covered already in previous posts.

However, I don't think anyone has outlined exactly what you should do with the items you have sold...you have received payment, it isn't the fault of your buyers that your accounts have been frozen. If you do not send the goods out then firstly you will end up with mega unhappy buyers who will chargeback and probably end your career on ebay. At worse they may consider you a scammer and even go to the police.

We see this scenario more often on here from the buyers point of view, and many regulars will suggest the police if paypal are slow in assisting a buyer. These buyers have paid, why should they have no money and no goods either? Send the goods, cover yourself with tracking against possible chargebacks or loss in post and then deal with paypal.
