when should a seller and buyer leave feedback?

Hi there
I wonder if anyone out there takes the same view of feedback as I do. From previous posts it seems not and I get really fed up with sellers who wait for feedback before leaving it.
As a buyer who instantly pays for items, I think sellers should leave positive feedback first, as soon as they know they have been paid.
As a buyer I am reluctant to leave feedback for a seller knowing that they have just been waiting for the feedback, to see if they then can copy the rating awarded.
That makes me really sick.
As a seller, I leave feedback as soon as someone as fulfilled their obligation to me, ie as soon as they have paid me. It is then my obligation to deliver the purchase to them.
Anyone any thoughts?

Nobody has mentioned negative feedback.
This crops up on a monthly basis please look back and you will find this gets very heated.
As a seller I WILL NOT LEAVE FEEDBACK UNTIL BUYER IS HAPPY normally having left +ve feedback. Paying for an item does not signal the end of the transaction.0 -
