Glossary for "Bankruptcy & Living With It"

I've noticed a few posts asking for explanations of the acronyms being used here. I've done this quick list - if you can think of any more, please add them. :)

OR = Official Receiver
IPA = Income Payment Agreement
IVA = Individual Voluntary Arrangement
IPO = Income Payment Order
DMP = Debt Management Plan
BR = bankrupt/bankruptcy
BRO = Bankruptcy Restriction Order
CCCS - Consumer Credit Counselling Service
DFW = Debt-free Wannabe
SOA = Statement of Affairs
HPA = Hire Purchase Agreement
DCA = Debt Collection Agency

I'll ask that the thread be made a "sticky", but I'll ask for it to be left open so that others can add their contributions to the list.

    Don't feel silly at all. When I first started on this forum, I thought OR was being typed by people who liked seeing the word 'or' in capitals. I'd never heard of any of the others either. :)

    LO is used for Little One- as in child. I had no idea what this was for ages, but it's kind of cute.

    IMO- In My Opinion
    IMHO- In My Humble Opinion

    I know these aren't strictly related to Bankruptcy by any means, but I was new to forums when I came here, and had to painstakingly work them all out!
