CPW O2 and O2 - What are the Differences?
I always feel with this group it would be great to have a FAQ, but I have searched and I'm afraid I cannot find the definitive answer to this.
I ordered from thephonespot (if I type in the proper address look what it replaces it with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )via https://www.quidco.com of course (£50 from Quidco). I knew it was part of Carphone Warehouse, safe and secure and all that for my cashback and it was an 11 month free, with refurb Motorola L6 on O2 250 (100 texts) for 11 months free. So including the £50 via quidco should be totally free.
I was on O2 before and I like to be able to call the 0870 numbers etc for free. However when I got the SIM and everything it all said CPW O2, and I thought what does this mean. I've seen threads on it, but I've never quite been sure what they meant.
Please can someone tell me what the main differences are between CPW O2 and ordinary O2. Most important is will I still get my free 0870 numbers but are there other things that I need to know?
Many thanks,
Ed.

Customer service and billing is done by CPW and not 02.
I made this mistake and cancelled the contract with CPW and signed up via the 02.
CPW are rubbish. Poor customer service and if you have a problem 02 won't touch you they just give you the CPW customer service number.
02 will bill CPW and CPW will then bill you. So can add what they like0 -
I agree with the Customer service bit as above.
All the included calls are like o2. That is 0844,0845 and 0870 all come out of the inclusive minutes.
you can see all the individual calls made everyday,if you log in your o2 mobiles but with CPW o2 you have to wait for your bills, to see it and itemisation is charged extra 99p. The remaining allowance can be seen by signing into CPW website but there is nearly 48 hours delay in updating it.0
