Over the years I've used Onetel, Nildram, Pipex, Freedom 2 Surf. Unfortunately F2s and Nildram both became part of the Pipex empire and went down the plughole from the point of view of service quality. Onetel was poor anyway and just got worse after Talk Talk took it over. Most recently it has got so bad that mail often fails to get delivered. Been with Zen at work for around six months. They have been great. So switched home service to Zen too. And in the process of switching my parents over too.
Not the cheapest, but good quality service, incl customer support. Pay £17.99 for up to 8gm speed and a monthly allowance of 2GB which is ample for us.0 -
What about Madasafish?
The 1st 6months is £11.99 then its £17.99 thereafter. Up to 8Mb speed and 5Gb monthly allowance. I've heard only good reviews about them. Also have a look on moneysupermarket.com, i've just found out they are offering a free wireless router :j0 -

Are you sure it's free? Can't see it on the moneysupermarket site.
Also maybe better not to use moneysupermarket to sign up.
Sign up direct with madasafish's website and put in the code "cheaper".
You only pay £10.99 for the first 6 months and £16.99 for the next 6.0 -
Hi again Quentin,
You seem to be following me around trying to prove me wrong?!? Anyway here we go again.
You are correct about the "cheaper" code but this only works until the end of the month. The free wireless router is a promotion which is offered by moneysupermarket.com which is why I mentioned it.
Do you really think I would come on here and just lie or give false information. Obviously we have different sources for our information.0 -

Like Quentin, I can see no mention of a free wireless router on moneysupermarket.com. Are you sure that it a wireless router and not simply a router? Give us a link. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Just got of the dog and bone with them.
It is not advertised on their website yet but if you call them on 0845 373 1376 you can get it though them. Like I said Quentin I don't make this stuff up for the fun of it0 -

Samara from madasafish states that they will be reverting to the original deal on the 31st March.0 -

No-one used the expression "liar" and you have agreed in the scottish power thread that you did post incorrect info.
Your post here suggested we look on moneysupermarket regarding the free wireless router, now we learn you need to ring to get this offer - so don't get too defensive!
This looks a great deal and shouldn't get lost in you posting point scoring answers. (Without folk posting that the website doesn't show the free wireless router we wouldn't have learnt how to get it)
(How did you find out about it in the first place?)0 -

Well .......
That is an ancient post, and refers to 31/3/06.
The "cheaper" offer is ongoing, and still promoted by madasafish on MSE.
The thread you have sent us to is 48 pages long, and you have just read page 1!
But the moneysupermarket free wireless router you posted about is much better than this "cheaper" deal.
Even if you already have one, you could still get this one and sell it for more than the £12 saved going direct to madasafish.0 -
ha ha ha I told you I was new to the site. Although I'm sure I did hear that the "cheaper" offer was finishing.
I got the information about the free wireless router from the moneysupermarket.com forum as I post on their quite a lot too. Can't remember where the post was but if you ask one of the experts on the forum they should be able to tell you.
I wonder if you could combine the offers. That would be even better0
