hi, couple of questions, i have an old pc which i would like to use for browsing in the spare room but it is not wireless ready. My main pc is in my bedroom with a broadband modem connection. If possible, what equipment would i need??
also when you enter personal data on the web i.e credit card info, what would be the best programme to completely get rid of the information you have entered?
thanks for the help.

If your main PC is connected through a wireless router then all you'll need for the old pc is a wireless adaptor (USB or PCI) or a wired network cable for a non wireless router. If no router you may consider internet connection sharing which requires both PC's to be connected using a "crossover" network cable.0

If you have a BT line (ADSL), then a netgear dg834G is a good router (not the cheapest though). If you have cable, post back, because you will need a cable/dsl router instead.
