Also at Currys online for that price too

I'm tempted to get one for my daughter, only downside is that it has no inbuilt speakers.

Saw them yesterday but the response time is dreadful. IIyama are a very good make though.
saw a 19" tft instore at pc world for 199.00 yesterday also - an acer I think.

aren't Iiyama and E-yama two different entities though? Iiyama monitors are excellent pieces of kit, but E-yama? Low end, budget monitors from what I've heard.

It's very confusing advertising by PC World

I've just trawled numerous sites checking this out and you're right redfox, it's a budget model and not to be confused with their usual range which are good quality.

Incidentally, just got a mail drop thru the door from Netto and they have the Acer 17" in stock for £149 from today.

I couldn't find that stated on any website whatsoever, so it's my guess they don't want to publicise it ... meaning it's !!!!!!!!!!! icon8.gif

The contrast ratio is poor also, aria monitors are 500:1 or 700:1. Good price from a shop though, there returns policy is loads better than aria's. Worth trying & if it's no good, return it.

I don't think it's available 'til Monday and it also has a 25ms response time which is disappointing.

Looks to me like an OEM version of an Iiyama, as its not branded with their usual logo, etc.

I did find this page with description and picture - http://www.aurora.se/iiyama/e-yama-17jn1.htm
