Hi there! Hope no-one minds me starting this off in moozie's absence. Perhaps the Farmer was a bit late in milking her this morning!
(God does that sound rude?! Sorry!
)
Anyway here is the link to last weeks thread if you want to check what you pledged. I am sure Moozie will update/apply her fabby administration to the thread when she has more time.

I will start.
I was RUBBISH this week. I said £70 but spent £130.32. That's a horrendous budget blip! Must try harder this week.
I am going to put in a budget this week of £95 because as well as weekly bus fares, I have a week's worth of groceries to buy and a night out planned on Tuesday, though I will try keep both as low as possible.
But I must be realistic.
OK, good luck all, I hope you all stay within budget!
Another edit: Been shopping and spent £36.32 on the weekly shop which could have been even cheaper if we hadn't of had to buy razor blades for BF corrrr they are *so* expensive aren't they?

My weekly budget for last week was £55 and i spent £53.70 :T
I'll set myself a target for £50 for next week, need to buy some new clothes etc, but i've already budgetted for that so it won't come out of my weekly target.
Today shall be a NSD.

Did well last week - only spent £3.15 from £20 allowance.
This week - following the DFW flylady thread - I have allowed £120 to cover groceries, petrol and spending. Yesterday spent £73 on groceries and dog food and gave OH £15 for spends (got a work trip so needs a bit more!). So I have £32 for petrol and spending. Will put £25 fuel in car tomorrow so my spending budget for this week is £7.0 -

well just added up last weeks spends, in total £202.69, but that includes £131.50 for tv license. so really it was £71.19 which is atrocious!
next week i'm setting a budget of £20, since i bought food yesterday i shouldnt need to spend all of this. however the nsd i promised to have today will have to wait as i realised i forgot to pick up lasagne sheets doh! so i'm taking a quick nip into town, gonna pick up a few bits i'm also needing today so i can have more nsd's this week.0 -
I've been pretty good with my January Grocery Challenge, and find that monitoring what I spend really works, so I'd like to join this week's budget challenge.
With petrol, grocery shopping, work xmas savings club and general spending money, I'm going to set a £100 limit for this week - wish me luck!
Do you guys keep a full record of what you spend on as well as how much you're spending? All hints gratefully received

Ooh, I'm going to join again this week.
Normally I stick to under £10, but last week and this week (and next week!) I've got a lot of travel & interviews & socialising to do.
I'm going to aim for under £30 this week...eek!!Do or do not. There is no try. (Yoda!)
