It is very easy to create a poll

When you create a new thread, you will see the Post a Poll tick-box (1) in the
Additional Options area below the reply box:

When you click Submit New Thread, the Post a Poll page will appear:

If you didn't enter the number of options needed on the previous page, you can change the number here (2) and select Update Options to change the number of fields.

If you want to add a poll to a thread you have already started, you will find this option under Thread Tools:

Notes

The message you typed to start the thread will be posted as soon as you click Submit New Thread. It is possible for other users to read and post replies to your thread while you are still working on the poll options page

Once you have submitted your poll, you cannot change it in any way
