Default We Won! Website of the Year Radio 2 (copied from old forum)

Today (26th December 2003).

Radio 2's Steve Wright programme announced it's website of the day awards for 2003. Having previously been a winner of the 'website of the day' - to be picked alongside www.google.co.uk and www.ungoogle.com as one of the three winners of the year is amazing! Hoorah! Yippee. And thanks to all the Chat room contributers who have now added a good 4,000,000 words of content.

(For the direct link click here - though it may no longer work once BBC removes that specific page)

Reproduced from Radio 2 (26th Dec 2003)

WEBSITE OF THE DAY AWARDS 2003

**Most Useful Sites**
>> Google UK
>> Ungoogle
The king of all search engines and its unofficial cousin. As long as you can remember these two addresses you should be able to find any other website.
>> Money Saving Expert
A site to help you find short-term deals and loopholes to save you money on everything from phone bills to DVD players or contact lenses.

**Hobby Site of the Year**
>> Cluster Ballooning
A site devoted to the more extreme end of hot-air ballooning. Cloud hopping is solo ballooning with a harness instead of a basket, and cluster balloning entails hanging (Mary Poppins style) from a bouquet of space-hopper size balloons and bursting them one at a time when you want to descend! Don't try this at home without extensive training!

Probably because it's quite old now. It was just a copy over from the old forum
