From memory, two that were suggested as very good were AEG 16820 and a Zanussi (W??)

i would personally avoid washer driers if i were u sweety

they usually dry the clothes by producing steam, this makes ironing virtually impossible

i have had 2 diff w/ds and they hav both left my clothes with a funny smell, and the house smells funny whilst its drying also :o

unfortunately i dont hav room for a tumble drier - but only use the drying cycle on the w/d for towels when desperado...

How about tumble driers on their own ?

Thanks for the replies so far by the way.

I've had 2 Ariston washer dryers in 15 years and they do what they should. You can use a steam iron if they're too dry?!

Had a Zanussi washer/dryer for the past two years which we use regularly in our v.small kitchen with no problems.

Only minor annoyance is it has a filter in the front of the machine which needs removing and cleaning at least once a month..
