Are you after a mortgage adviser or an IFA?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

I have the email address (no phone number unfortunately) of a female adviser I used to know when I lived in Manchester. She is whole of market and fee's free. I could email it to you if you want.I am a Mortgage Adviser
You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. seen a couple of similiar threads , not sure brokers should be answering these posts with any recommendations , as against spirit of "new" code of conduct"Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

Why? the posters asking for information - we are giving it at no gain to ourselves. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of the adviser whos details have been given, nor can MSE - it certainly isnt touting - so whats the problem?I am a Mortgage Adviser

The problem is that both I and Payless believe that it is against the spirit of the code .I have asked the moderators for a decision. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0

Sorry guys but I have read the code, and I see nothing in it which would indicate that if a forum user asks for names of mortgage brokers or ifas in a certain area that we should not do that. To clarify, before I am accused of something ridiculous, I was going to (and still will) give the name of an employee of a firm of financial advisors with over 100 employees based on Salford Quays.
As for referring something so trivial to the mods Kenshaz, well thats just you allover isnt it Mr self importance himself. You still couldnt resist posting on the spam thread that I specifically asked people not to post on could you. Why did you do that? you behave like a defiant toddler.

Payless did answer with some examples in another thread and it got deleted.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Surely this is only comparable to suggesting someone buys something from asda, or even to use a certain chain of accountants? I think if you are aware of a company offering a good service you should be allowed to tell people. I had no intention of posting the name of the company on the board, and before you all start I have no connections with it. I really cannot see the logic in this, I think its taking things too far to not be able to mention the name of a company privately to a forum user, its going to get to the point where people stop coming for help because they don't get it, because we are all so restricted by perceptions of rules that don't exist.I am a Mortgage Adviser

The post has been reported and as such it is their decision and it is not appropriate for the perpetrators to give their analysis. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0
