AVG Free.........not for long.

I got a pop up from AVG this morning telling me that my Free AVG would stop on january 15 next year and would i like to upgrade to the latest version.
Is this real, has anybody else had this, or is it a scam.
I have had no problems with AVG and it has kept my PC safe ever since i installed it, so i would be sad to loose it, and i would probably buy the new product, unless you know of anything as good ( free ).
Not ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j

    This has been discussed quite a lot before (search the forum). You just have to upgrade to 7.5 from the site. I presume you are using 7.1.

    Not this again....

    Look, all that is happening is that AVG are upgrading their product from 7.1 to 7.5. It remains free, you just have to install the new version.
