Does anyone know the best place to buy wool? I have a C&H fabrics nearby but is there anywhere online that would work out cheaper? I want to knit fluffy scarves for presents so the wool needs to be good quality too.

You could try doing a search on this site as I`m sure this came up before and lots of people wrote in with their suggestions. One that I kept was http://www.yarn-shop.co.uk
The others were https://www.mcadirect.com https://www.buy-mail.com and https://www.knitwell.co.uk
Hope that helps

If you have one near you, my QD is selling wool at 99p buy 5 get 5 free. I managed to get very fluffy wool in four different colours - only need a couple of balls for a nice scarf. I also saw very fluffy wool in Wilkinsons last week but can't remember how much it was.0

What is QD?
Sadly I don't think I have a Wilkinsons near me.0 -
QD is a large shop in Basildon (not sure if they are anywhere else!) which seems to sell just about everything - pets, toys, household, clothes, diy, at very, very reasonable prices! Anyone know if there are any more anywhere?0

Wise Buys sells 3 balls of the fluffy wool with a set of needles for £1.99. Not sure if that shop is just in NI or nationwide though. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

If it's good quality 100% wool you are after you could try:

I recently bought some lovely 4ply wool really cheaply to make shawls as Christmas presents. They have a bargain section and their customer service was excellent.AMAZON MEMBERS CLUB - NUMBER 650
