Wool at the Works

Now I have seen it all, the Works have those fluffy silky balls of wool, I don't know what the stuff is called but everyone was knitting scarves with it last year. The best thing was it was 12 balls for £9.99.
How many balls does it take to knit a decent sized scarf as I have 3 balls in 4 different colours, would 3 balls make a long enough scarf or should I go back and buy some more?

Moggins, I think three balls would be enough to make a scarf. I made one last year out of a fancy yarn and I knitted 20 stitches until my three balls ran out. It was really relaxing to do as it was so simple I could do it without thinking. The scarf was a kind of by-product of my evening relaxation activity.
I'll go and have a look this week. Hopefully they won't have run out yet.

I use size 7mm needles and 20 stitches, you only need 1 ball, 2 balls max0
