Wool at the Works

Now I have seen it all, the Works have those fluffy silky balls of wool, I don't know what the stuff is called but everyone was knitting scarves with it last year. The best thing was it was 12 balls for £9.99.

How many balls does it take to knit a decent sized scarf as I have 3 balls in 4 different colours, would 3 balls make a long enough scarf or should I go back and buy some more?

Moggins, I think three balls would be enough to make a scarf. I made one last year out of a fancy yarn and I knitted 20 stitches until my three balls ran out. It was really relaxing to do as it was so simple I could do it without thinking. The scarf was a kind of by-product of my evening relaxation activity. :D I'll go and have a look this week. Hopefully they won't have run out yet.

Does anyone know if they still have the fluffy yarn that was mentioned earlier in the week?

well, they had it in my local store today. I don't think it's a very limited offer, could be there a while.

I use size 7mm needles and 20 stitches, you only need 1 ball, 2 balls max
