help with new phone

in Mobiles
i have a motorola v3
i want to transfer music/ photos from pc to phone
i have windows xp and a bluetooth dongle v2
but no software for phone do i need it?
where can i get software cheep/free?
will the dongle do what i want or do i need new data cable?
please help if any ideas ?

    I think the data cable on the Razrs are just standard USB cables which you get with all sorts of digital mediums such as cameras, psps, mp3's etc. the cable will be cheap as chips from any PC store and it should have connectivity straight away.

    As far as software goes, did you not get a CD in the pack when you bought it. If not, just search on the internet. Normally there'll be a froum where someones uploaded a program of some sort to do all of this.

    One more thing. I'm sure the memory on Razrs is pretty small too so you won't fit too many songs onto it.

    i have found a data cable(psp) thanks 4 tip!
    does any one know if i need phone software if i use dongle

    I was surprised you didnt get software with the phone. 2nd hand ?

    I had a look at the motorola website and it appears they want people to pay for the software(Mobile PhoneTools® PC220 for v3x).:mad:

    Hope your phone is better than the people i know who had the old v3's as they all got shot of them ASAP.

    Are you using an old v3 ??? I might be able to get hold of the software.

    i have found a disc i got with my motorola c975, would this work? On the disk it says Mobile phone tools 3.0, version 3.20c????
    And yes the lady in the avatar is me

    no its a new one. its for my daughter so she'll love it! i phoned and complained as there was no disc and they said that colour one (pink) didn't come with the disc at the time got it from tesco direct. motorola said £20 for disc i laughed as they come free with the blue ones.
    a friend of my husband is letting us have his disc so fingers crossed (he got a blue one)
