What's the deal?
Fly to Hong Kong for £260! A great deal if you're looking to fly to Hong Kong before mid-December. Oasis Hong Kong recently began flying from London Gatwick with economy tickets starting at £75 each way (plus £68 tax and fuel charge outbound and £44 inbound). All tickets are one-way, simply book both directions to get a return flight. The price includes two meals.
Bargain! How do I get a ticket?
Book online at Oasishongkong.com or over the phone on 01293 596633.
Are there any conditions?
You have until 30 November to book your ticket and you must travel between now and 14 December.

MSE's looking for a bargain bucket way to get to Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur, can combine the Oasis flight with the ferry from Hong Kong to Macau (old Portuguese colony) and then fly out of Macau to other destinations on another budget airline:-

Would make an interesting trip - especially for gamblers - as Macau is a renowned gambling haven.0 -
amazing priceI would love to be a Travel Agent :j0

Would love to hear any feedback from anyone who has flown with them.
I am planning to do so myself soon and have been following news about them. Their inaugural flight from HK was massively delayed due to last minute withdrawal of flying rights over Russia. The reasons were not clear but rumour has it that "a certain HK based well-known international airline" had a hand in it ......
As a result, their flight time is now an hour longer as their flight path has had to change. I think it is now 13 hours instead of 12, not that this bothers me.
A German colleague of mine flew out there with Oasis on Sunday and I can't wait to get his feedback when he is back next week!0 -

I flew back to Gatwick with Oasis on Sat 28th Oct(their second ever flight). Online checkin was simple to choose your seats, and the flight was good. Seatback TVs with 6 movie channels etc. (I've flown KLM to Bangkok & Singapore and they don't have seat back TVs - only a 14" portable hanging from the baggage bins!!)
The plane seems to be an ex Thai or Singapore plane judging by the interior colour scheme. Would use again.
To catch the flight I flew from Bangkok to Macau with airasia, caught a cab to the ferry terminal, got the ferry to HK, then another cab to HK airport. If you have the time to do all this it's ok, but a bit of hassle (especially if you've got lots of baggage.......), so its probably easier just to get a cheap flight to HK in the first place.
Another couple of good se asia budget carriers - Nok air, and Jet Star.

Firstly, you might find Hong Kong has more than you imagine: great national parks and wilderness areas, as well as the island of Lamma, where cars are banned but there are plenty of beach-side bars and great sea-food restaurants. I could easily stay there for two weeks without getting bored.
Anyway, you can easily get to China or to Macau. For cheap flights from Macau, check out Air Asia or Tiger Air.
For discounted flights from Hong Kong itself, there is a bucket shop called Aero that has a good web site.0 -
