I would like to make the kids an art and craft chest as a joint present for Christmas, I am wondering whether I can do it for a budget of £10?
Any ideas would be grateful as to contents on this budget please?

Thanks everyone. I don't think I have a Wilkinson's where I am but I can probably pick up some bits from Tesco's, I will probably just put some christmas wrapping around a cardboard box as the container.0

If you need to add paper Tesco value copier paper (plain white A4) is about £2.00 ish for 500 sheets. Lasts ages! Also Tesco value felt pens and pencils are pretty good.
The works do things like glitter, pipe cleaners, sequins, glue, paint etc very cheaply.
If you've got enough space you could also add bits of junk you find round the house like length of sting and wool, pieces of foil and greaseproof paper, toilet roll tubes, egg boxes, those little aluminuim dishes that mince pies come in etc. Also acorns, shells, pebbles - anything they can be creative with really!

Tescos have great craft stuff for kids and it's so cheap. i bought 12 HUGE sheets of craft foam for I think £1.99 from Tesco. Buying that in na "adult" craft shops it would ahve cost laods more.
They also had a pack fo 12 glitter/colour glues for £1.
ELC also do great packs of sequins/feathers etc for 50p - £1.50 and they are always on 3 for 2. (Make sure if you want more than 3 and a mix of costs, do it in seperate transactions so you get the MOST amoutn off ie 3 £1 bags, then 3 50p bags, Other wise they will take off the 50p ones as the free ones.)0 -
They had huge packets of A4 plain photocopier type paper in Aldi last week for £1.89 I think it was, got littley some to draw on, also Home Bargains have card kits in for next to nowt, can't remember exact price, Poundland had some good stuff aswell0
