That seems to be about the same price I was getting for Easter too.
Try Opodo, expedia, travelsupermarket, then when you find a price, go the the airlines website and do a search then, eg, KLM.
  • I went to LV last New Years for a week but had booked up months before. We got a good deal with Americas4U. Try Expedia as previous poster stated and you get an option to change your flight, I have done this recently and find that you can fly direct with Virgin for more or less the same money. Didnt check over New Year though.
    Good luck... its fab!

Life is sometimes a bit pants but occasionally you can wear your french knickers! :D
  • if you'd only posted this before the 23rd october ...maxjet were doing an offer from stansted for £599 return to las vegas ...this service is an all 'business class' service which my parents thought great when travelling to new york. i actually looked at christmas and new year and you could select any date in the schedule for this price.
may be worth an e-mail to them if you're interested and see what they can do...tell them you've been away or something.
    they are quite people friendly
  • sorry just checked the website and the offer has been extended but the £599 doesn't seem available on 28/12/06 returning 4/1/07...sorry it was probably too good an initial offer for those dates

ooohhh your so lucky. where are you staying ?? have you been before

only Virgin out of Gatwick fly everyday direct to Vegas.

BMI have a few flights a week out of Manchester plus this new Maxijet service out of Stansted.

Do not under value the the benfits of a direct flight. was 15 hours on the go with a direct flight for us when we flew with Virgin and that was with a twilight check-in day before and staying at hotel right at Gatwick. is that small amount saved on a non direct REALLY worth it

here is a old thread of woe about flight finding to Vegas

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=255128

it is cutting it too fine if you have not yet applyed for the BMI card as the free 20,000 miles can be used against Virgin flights which might have cut your bill. get in there for next time

Virgin are good and the twilight check in is a great idea.

get a Aisle seat ( not window as leg room is not great ) as near to the FRONT of the plane as possible on the flight out to ensure you get through border control quicker ( could be looking at hour plus wait at the back of plane) . and make sure that green form is filled out properly before you get off the plane.

if you want any futher money saving tips on Vegas let me know .( shows , shopping ect)
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

I understand that having spent nearly 30hours awake on my recent trip, however, not everyone lives near a "big" airport where they fly direct. I would have to get down to London or Manchester to fly direct, then leave the car and all the time and expense that entails. Sometimes you have no option but to go via a "hub". You could even make that a side trip.

for sure if the price is right .

. but a big airport is required for america .hell Birmingham my local airport does not even fly there anymore.

although i heard rumours that they might re start flights to states
